This afternoon it was so sunny! We all went outside and realised that everyone had a shadow! We drew around our shadow, and then had a go at doing different poses to make our shadow change. It was so much fun!

This afternoon we and our friends The Achievers and The Jewels made some Christmas tree paintings by using a plastic fork to scrape paint and create the bristles. The Innovators make maps!
Using what we learned in Maths: We have been looking at maps of our classroom environment. The children then went and created their own map of Pitsmoor. We drew our houses, Tesco, the church and the mosque. Well done Foundation and a big well done to Mrs Westney! Have a good week Innovators. Mr. Riley
The Innovators become loose-parts engineers!
This afternoon we were challenged to work together with our friends The Achievers to build a long pipe that we could pour water through without it falling out! We thought very carefully about how we could fit the pieces together before Miss Mayor-Choudrey poured water down it. We had so much fun!
The Innovators become scientists!
We were so excited to come back after half term and see that we have a new science area in our classroom! We got to work straightaway and used pipettes to squeeze coloured water into mixing palettes. The Innovators practise 1:1 counting!
This week we have tried our best in maths in our 1:1 counting, subitising and saying the total of a group. We practised this by counting conkers onto leaves with different numbers on. We were AMAZING!

The Innovators learn about verbs and nouns!
This week The Innovators learnt all about verbs and nouns, and identified them in our class story ‘Once There Were Giants’. We sorted out verbs and nouns into two groups, and then composed an oral sentence from them. We were fantastic and tried our best!
